Ankerdine House Oil Painting

Original Oil Painting.

Created onto a canvas board, this antique oil painting depicts Ankerdine House- a beautiful brick cottage in Knightwick, in the Worcestershire countryside. 

There is a label on the reverse which reads "Ankerdine House on the River Teme, Price £10" and it is dated '41.

* I have included two photos of the original house found whilst researching, one from the same era (1940s) and another recent one, sadly the red brick has now been painted white and the roses removed!

There is a small section where the paint has flaked away (shown) this isn't too noticeable and is reflected in the overall price.

A delightful piece of vintage decor for any home, this would be great placed upon a shelf or framed on a wall.
