Continental Wicker Wrapped Bottle

Antique Wicker Viresa.

Originally used to house wine, this old wicker carboy has a deep green bottle inside and a delicate woven handle.

The wicker would have been used to protect the glass whilst transportation and now shows subtle signs of wear- some small scuffs and frayed edges, which is all reflected in the overall price.

The wicker itself has signs of historic wood worm- as an extra precaution I have treated this with 'Everbuild Triple Action Wood Treatment'.

Great for holding a flower stem or dried seed heads- this is perfect placed upon a shelf simply as decor.
