Antique Wild Duck Pitcher.
Created by Shaw & Copestake, this old pitcher features the striking motif "Wild Duck"- and the base that reads "MADE IN ENGLAND, Genuine Wild Duck Ware".
Circa 1930s, this is in very good condition, there are some nibbles to the base and areas where the glaze has worn away.
Shaw & Copestake founded Sylvac pottery in 1938- the typical Sylvac numbers can be seen stamped on the base.
Full of Art Deco charm, the hand painted glaze is complimented by the angular body- this is perfect for placing upon a shelf as vintage decor and great for holding cut flowers.
