Provincial Chinese Ginger Jar.
A beautiful example of Chinese Pottery, this antique ginger jar has a delicate painted glaze, mustard yellow rim and hatched top- this is typical of Qing Dynasty jars, which date from 1644 - 1911.
The blue motif depicts a landscape scene with a river around the body, some mountains in the background and small buildings.
In very good condition for it's age, there are some historic imperfections- this is fully water tight and makes a great posy vase for cut flowers- it's a beautiful piece of vintage decor for any home.
