Chopping Block Stool - Made by Alan

Handmade Foot Stool.

Inspired by old chopping blocks- this unique foot stool has been crafted out of sycamore wood, the seat has been hand gauged giving it a lovely texture and the legs created from smaller branches have a real organic feel.

Jointed together with oak plugs, making this super study, it's great for using as a seat, step up or simply a foot stool next to a fire.

The beautiful grain is emphasised by a natural beeswax - there is a slight Brutalist charm to this piece but with a primitive twist.

Part of our Reclaimed Collection- Carpenter Alan Riches has sustainably sourced local wood to created a series of one-off pieces using traditional techniques- This particular timber was taken from a Sycamore tree in Welford-on-Avon.
