Created onto a wooden board and professionally framed, this beautiful scenic oil painting has a string on the reverse for hanging and it is in great condition.

The reverse is signed "Marianne E. Collier" and titled Midsummer River, Collier is a Worcestershire based artist, known for her landscapes of the Malvern Hills and surrounding areas.

This artwork shows the river meandering towards Upton on Severn, with the Malverns in the background- Upton is known for the 'Pepperpot' (seen here) a 14th century tower, now listed as an ancient monument.

This would look lovely as part of a gallery wall or stand alone piece, it's a delightful piece of vintage decor for any home.
