Full of muted tones and expressive brushstrokes, this beautiful original oil painting depicts a stone archway looking on to an old door- possibly in Italy or rural France.

Created onto a stretched canvas, there is a slight ripple towards the middle (shown) this is very subtle but still reflected in the overall price.

The chippy paint wooden frame is signed on the back 'J. HALMAN' (Joan Halman) and there is a string for hanging on the wall.

This makes a great gift and is a lovely vintage addition to any home.
