Farm House Oil Painting

Antique Original Cottage Painting.

A beautiful old oil painting, this has been created onto a canvas board out of oils and comes in a sturdy ornate white frame with blue details.

The artwork depicts a white farmhouse with trees in the background and a blue cart in the foreground, created using muted tones- the brush strokes are lose and expressive.

Circa 1940s, I purchased this off the artists Granddaughter in Worcestershire, he produced the artworks throughout his lifetime inspired by the local scenery.

The back has a sticker which was once signed but has faded and is now illegible- the bottom left corner has a sticker that reads "SUSSEX ARTIST EXHIBITION".

In great condition, there is a string on the reverse for hanging- it's a beautiful piece of vintage decor for any home.
