French Deconstructed Slipper Chair

Antique French Stripped Back Chair.

A striking piece of decor, this 19th century slipper chair has been 'deconstructed' to reveal the hessian base and horsehair back, as well as parts of the old striped underlay to the reverse.

Raised on dark wood legs, the front have an ornate carved detail and the back are splayed slightly- all with the original castors.

Structurally sound, this is perfect for being reupholstered in your chosen fabric, or left as is and
