French Maple Side Table

Smaller than usual, this lovely side table was once a washstand with a marble top- which has been replaced many years ago with a beautiful Maple Burr veneer.

The intricate carved legs are sat upon petite castors and there is a slim cupboard space for storage- this is hinged on the right and has an ornate brass pull which latches on the inside.

Circa 1890s, this is in very good condition- there are a couple of subtle nibbles to the corners (shown) which is reflected in the overall price, I have applied two coats of French Polish to bring out the striking grain and nourish the wood.

This would also be ideal for placing in a hallway for holding letters due to the slim size, in a bathroom or could even used as a bedside table.
