French Soup Tureen with Lid

Antique French Soup Tureen.

Created in France out of white ironstone, this beautiful old soup tureen is compromised of three parts- the plate, dish and lid, sadly the original spoon has been lost over time!

There are some nibbles to the plate and age related imperfections to the glaze- this is in very good condition for it's age.

The handles are a lovely embossed leaf pattern, this has a short pedestal base and makes a great alternative for a bulb planter.

This makes a great serving dish- it's a lovely piece of vintage decor for any kitchen.
