Popular in France, this charming old egg basket is handmade out of wire and has a lovely 'expanding' top, with large handles for carrying.
The metal has developed a subtle patina from many years of use, this is lovely for holding kitchen utensils, as a fruit basket or even as a peg bag.
In good condition, some of the hinged triangles are a bit wonky and overall this is misshapen, which only adds to the charm- it's a lovely piece of vintage decor for any home!
