Georgian Oak Side Table

Antique Oak Side Table.

Circa 1810, this jointed oak table is in very good condition, with sympathetic restorations throughout- there is some slight warping to the top and damage to the rounded feet- (shown) all reflected in the overall price.

The overhanging plank-top sits upon a single drawer with drop-brass pulls. The hand-turned bobbin legs are the stand out feature, these have square stretchers making the table very sturdy.

The dark oak has developed a lovely patina from many years of use, I have lightly cleaned the wood and nourished it with a natural beeswax.

Typical of Georgian design, this antique table is really beautiful, perfectly proportioned and a striking piece of decor for any home.
