Handpainted Solain Ware Bowl

Hand Painted Ironstone Bowl.

The most beautiful bowl I've come across, this has a stained crazing throughout which really adds to the charm.

The handpainted design is Belle Fiore, Solain Ware 521 and was created by Simspons Potters England in the 1940s.

The motif is two bold pink flowers to one side, large green leaves small blue florals around the edge- the bowl has a subtle scallop to the rim which is also painted in a deep blue.

There are some hairline cracks (shown) which have also stained, these do not detract from the charm and are reflected in the price.

A lovely piece of vintage decor for any home, this would be perfect hung on a wall or placed on a dresser shelf.
