Jointed Oak Pig Bench

Hand Made Oak Bench.

A contemporary twist on the traditional pig-bench, this beautiful piece has been hand made out of oak and jointed together, making it super sturdy.

The top is a chunky plank which had been carefully carved to the underside- there are large metal staples (also known as forged dogs!) on the edges to keep the splits in place.

The slim leges have been stained dark and the top waxed with a natural beeswax to protect the wood.

Great for using at a dining table instead of chairs, in an entry way or this could even be used as a console table, it makes a lovely addition to any home.

Part of our Reclaimed Collection- Carpenter Alan Riches has sourced furniture beyond repair to created a series of one-off pieces using traditional techniques, giving old wood a new lease of life.
