Large Swedish Dough Bowl

Swedish 'Dug Out' Dough Bowl.

Large in size, this beautiful old dough bowl has been hand carved out of a single slab of wood, has two chunky handles for carrying and a subtle patina from many years of use.

Crafted in the 19th century originally used for bread preparation, this is perfect for placing in the centre of a table to be used as a fruit bowl!

Unwaxed and raw, the bleached wood has some interior staining (shown) which I have lightly cleaned using wire wood.
