Nostalgic Winter Oil Painting

Signed Christmas Oil Painting.

Large in size and ever-so charming, this beautiful painting has been created using oils onto a canvas board and comes ready to hang in a dark brown frame.

The nostalgic artwork depicts a snowy Victorian street, with a horse drawn carriage and well dressed people lining the pavement- it has a real Charles Dickens - David Copperfield feel to it!

The bottom right corner is signed 'Copy by C. W. Brown' - this is very similar to the style of primitive painter Charles William Brown, but this cannot be verified. 

In very good condition- there are a couple of little age related nibbles around the frame (shown) which do not detract from the charm.

Created using lose brush strokes- although set in winter, this is a very colourful piece making it a lovely vintage piece of decor for any home.
