Oak Refectory Dining Table

Rustic Oak Farm House Table.

Full of primitive charm, this beautiful oak refectory table has chunky carved legs and two wide planks for the top, which has developed a beautiful patina from many years of use.

Very sturdy, this is able to seat 4 people, it also works great as a side table, prep island as part of a free standing kitchen or even a desk.

Taken from a chapel in South Wales, I purchased this off the one of the previous custodians- he used it as a potting bench in later years, so there is a slight warp to the wood but this does not detract from the charm and is reflected in the overall price.

A sympathetic restoration, I have dry scraped the wood and waxed it with a natural beeswax to nourish the oak.
