Created onto an old board, this lovely old oil painting depicts a meandering river in the countryside, with a brick bridge in the background and large trees.

The bottom left corner is signed 'J. H. Rothera' - a British artist who produced paintings of country scenes during the 20th century, his style is loose brush strokes and muted tones.

This comes in a sturdy frame that has a gold detail- theres a wire on the reverse making it ready to hang.

Quite large in size, this would look lovely as part of a gallery wall, it's a delightful piece of vintage decor for any home.
