Painted Wooden Fire Screen.

In great condition, this old wood fire screen has been painted to the front and depicts The Santa Maria, a ship captained by Columbus in 1492.

Circa 1930s, this has chunky legs to support the board and there are some light scorch marks to the reverse.

Used to stop open fires spitting out embers, this is a real statement piece and makes a lovely piece of vintage decor for any home!
