Pair of Quimper Faience Bowls

Rare Henriot Quimper Bowls.

Sold as a pair, these beautiful old porridge bowls were created by Quimper Pottery, the reverse of each reads 'HENRIOT QUIMPER FRANCE, 103' and '104'.

Henriot Quimper, also known as Quimper faience, started creating studio pottery in 1708- known for painting each piece by hand, they still produce today.

Both have a small tab on either side painted blue, inside depicts a painted figure- also known as Ivoire Corbeille Childs.

Hand made, there are some age related imperfections, including nibbles to the rim, overall these are in very good condition.

A beautiful display piece- this makes a delightful piece of vintage decor for any home as well as a gift.
