Primitive Pine Box Bench.

Very sturdy with a jointed frame and full of charm- this beautiful old box bench has a low back, lift up seat and subtle patina to the pale pine throughout.

Circa 1940s, the hinged seat is a great storage solution- making this ideal for placing in a boot room or hall way.

There is evidence of ancient wood worm legs- this has been treated with 'Everbuild Triple Action Wood Treatment' as an added precaution, but there are no signs of wood worm.

A lovely piece of vintage decor for any home, this rustic settle I have lightly lime waxed the pine to emphasise the grain.
