Red Floral Still Life Painting

Original Floral Painting - Framed & Signed.

Created onto a canvas board, this beautiful old oil painting depicts a short vase filled with bold red chrysanthemum flowers, which comes set in an ornate wood frame.

In good condition, the bottom right corner is signed 'ROBERT COX' and there is a string on the reverse for hanging.

Robert Cox specialised in brightly coloured florals created using a palette knife, giving a slight texture to his work- Cox was known for his attention to natural light and shadow, emphasising the details of flora.

A lovely piece of vintage decor for any home, this artwork makes a great stand alone piece and would also work well as part of a gallery wall.
