Stripped Pine Chest of Drawers.

Full of country charm, these antique 2 over 2 drawers have been handmade out of pitch pine which has developed a striking patina from many years of use.

Circa 1870s, the drawers are a marriage piece and have the later addition of a new base with bun feet, this makes the piece super sturdy and does not detract from the character!

The drawers themselves are dovetail jointed and run smooth- I have lined them with a simple floral paper and restored the stays.

Overall in good condition, there are some age related signs of wear- the top left bead is missing as is the top left brass keyhole, both shown and reflected in the overall price.

Great for a compact space, these are perfect for holding clothes in a bedroom or could even be used as part of a freestanding kitchen!
