Wood Bread Board & Silver Plate

Old Bread Board with Silver Plate.

This antique cutting board has a solid wooden centre and it sat in a lovely silver surround plate.

The wood has hundreds of knife marks from many years of use and has developed a beautiful patina- this is removable from the silver base for ease of cleaning.

The surround is silver plated and the reverse is stamped "E. P. N. S" - Electro Plated Nickel Steel, as well as "W. D. - 4403" - there is some tarnishing to this (shown) which is reflected in the overall price.

Fully functional, as well as beautifully decorative- this is a delightful piece of vintage decor for any home.
