x4 Hand Painted Magic Lantern Slides

Antique Magic Lantern Slides.

Sold as a set of 4, these beautiful magic lantern slides have been hand painted onto glass, are encased in a mahogany frame and all depict various religious scenes.

The artworks included are:
- Jephthah and his daughter, "Jephthat" numbered 73
- The Disobedient Prophet, numbered 134
- Has on Underwater, numbered 120
- Solomon, numbered 86
The title is hand written on the front in ink.

The good condition, there are some age related scuffs to the slides, one has cracked in the frame (shown) but this does not affect the slide, all of this is reflected in the overall price.

A lovely piece of vintage decor for any home, this is great for placing upon a window sill letting the sun shine through!
